Make a Difference in Your Community

Volunteers are the heartbeat of Friends of Wellbeing. Whether you can give a few hours a month or want to play a deeper role, your time and skills help us break down stigma and bring culturally informed mental health support to those who need it most.

Ways You Can Contribute

Whatever your skills or availability, there's a way to get involved. Here are some of the areas where volunteers make the biggest impact.

Community Outreach & Events

Help us run awareness sessions, wellbeing fairs, and community conversations across the UK and West Africa. From setting up venues to welcoming attendees, your presence makes a difference.

Peer Support & Facilitation

Create safe spaces for shared learning and mutual support. Facilitate peer circles, support groups, and conversations that help reduce stigma and build community resilience.

Administration & Operations

Support the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our charity running — from data entry and donor communications to logistics planning and resource coordination.

Fundraising & Partnerships

Help us build relationships with donors, corporate partners, and grant-making bodies. Your skills in networking, writing, or events can unlock resources that expand our reach.

Communications & Social Media

Amplify our message through social media, newsletters, and storytelling. Help us reach more people with culturally relevant mental health education and awareness.

I'm Open to Anything

Not sure where you fit? That's okay. Tell us about your skills and interests, and we'll find a role that works for you. Every pair of hands and every perspective matters.
